I developed this blog after attending the Philadelphia Christian Writers Conference in August 2010. I attended a workshop about Facebook, blogging and twitter. Bonnie S. Calhoun, a well-known Christian fiction author and conference speaker (http://bonniescalhoun.com), emphatically said that if you aspire to be a writer in the Christian market you should be blogging on a regular basis to establish your platform.
Bonnie's workshop inspired me so much that I decided to start my own devotional writing blog to express how the power of God is working in my life, and how He will work and is working in yours. My writings are devotional, sharing the messages the Lord gives me, and explaining how they relate to you, giving you encouragement and hope in the present and future. I combine my writing with my photography whenever possible to illustrate my articles. And to keep things even more fun and interesting, I write about current events in the news from a spiritual perspective.
My prayer is that my devotionals will inspire you, and that you will develop a hunger for a more intimate relationship with the Heavenly Father through our Lord Jesus Christ.
So visit me often, read my posts and those of other visitors, and let God speak to you and show you how much He loves you. Enjoy your journey with Him.
“That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wondrous works” (Psalm 26:7)
I look forward to speaking with you soon!
In Him,
Judy

Hello Pat,
DeleteThanks so much for leaving comments on my blog. I tried to leave a comment on your site but I'd have to join Google+ to do so. I declined but I wanted to get back to you. I'm absolutely thrilled that Gabby Douglas won gold at the olympics!! I'm a fan of Dominique Dawes, and I loved her commentary about Gabby. Thanks for sharing the video.
Blessings,
Judy
